Plastek supports launch of All-Spray aircraft window cleaning products for general aviation. Products restore a lustrous finish that is smooth and beads water well; products also reduce reflection of minor defects and enhance window visibility.

Signal Hill, CA – July 27, 2009 – Plastek, LLC (www.PlastekLLC.com) supports newly launched General Aviation All-Spray window cleaning and detailing product line at 2009 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Aircraft Spruce, a Southern California based, worldwide distributor of aircraft parts and pilot supplies will carry PLASTEK’S All-Spray product line, including the Aircraft Window Cleaning Kit recently featured in AOPA Pilot magazine, as part of its new product offering during AirVenture.

The All-Spray Aircraft Window Cleaning Kit includes a sampling of all products included within the line: All-Spray (8 fl. oz.), Microfiber Towels (Qty: 10), All-Spray Detailer’s (Qty: 3), and an Aircraft Window Polishing Cloth.

All-Spray products work by cleaning the window surface and reducing the reflection of minor defects in the windscreen. This in turn produces a lasting finish that helps improve cockpit visibility.

Raybourne Thompson of Texas used the All-Spray window cleaning kit on his fixed wing and rotorcraft windows, which he said were in pretty good shape. "The All-Spray seemed to fill in very small defects, so that the scratches were not as reflective. The product also made the surface slick to the touch and shed water quite well." He continued to say, "I found that the product stayed on the window a long time. I cleaned the windows this last weekend and flew from Houston to Dallas and back (about 550 miles) and noticed when I returned that the windows still felt slick."

Bob Harmon of Texas thought the product was "a breeze to use." He stated, "First use on my aircraft windows left them in the absolutely great condition. None of the smears, smudges, or streaks that I have experienced with other name brand aircraft grade window cleaners. It left my Plexiglas virtually invisible."

In addition to the ALL-SPRAY window cleaning product line, Plastek offers its EZCLEAR repair and polishing product line to the General Aviation community.

Plastek’s EZCLEAR repair and polishing products actually remove window damage (haze, blemishes and scratches) to restore clarity quicker and more effectively with their proprietary two-step system. These products descend from military and commercial formulations Plastek manufactures. The products have been highly qualified and tested, and are used by leaders in the industry including, the U.S. Military, Boeing, Bombardier, Gulfstream and American Airlines. The repair and polishing products have proven to restore clarity back to within .03% of original specification, virtually brand new.

Plastek specializes in the detailing, polishing and restoration of acrylic aircraft transparencies. The company is located in Signal Hill, California.
